Orpen Kisacikoglu Leads 2023 Poker Masters Event #6 Final Table

The 2023 Poker Masters continued at the PokerGO Studio from ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, with Orpen Kisacikoglu ending Event #6: $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em with the chip lead over the remaining seven players.

This was Kisacikoglu's first appearance at the 2023 Poker Masters, and he parlayed his series debut into the chip lead with a chip stack of 3,215,000. Also making their series debut was fellow European Jack Hardcastle who reached the final table in the middle of the pack and would be surrounded by Justin Bonomo, Stephen Chidwick, Ryan Riess, Samuel Laskowitz, and Event #4 champion Chino Rheem. The final seven players have all locked up $47,500 in prize money, but all eyes are on the $218,500 first-place prize that awaits the winner. Along with the grand prize for the eventual Event #6 champion, there are also 219 PGT points and the PGT Gold Cup.

The sixth event of the series was also the third largest with a 95-entrant field creating a prize pool of $950,000. It was also the final $10,000 buy-in of the 2023 Poker Masters with the stakes being raised for the back half of the schedule with a series of $25,000 buy-in tournaments followed by the $50,000 finale. Once Dan Shak was eliminated on the Event #6 money bubble, Ariel Mantel, David Coleman, Daniel Negreanu, Chris Brewer, Adam Weinraub, and Dylan Linde were all eliminated before the final table of eight was set.

Following the elimination of Justin Zaki in eighth place and the clock passing 1 a.m. PT, the tournament was halted with seven players remaining. Kisacikoglu holds the chip lead and is eyeing his first PGT win inside the PokerGO Studio, but he'll have to fend off Event #4 champion Chino Rheem who sits second overall with 2,775,000 in chips. Justin Bonomo dominated the money bubble with aggressive play, but he slipped back to third overall with 1,750,000 while Hardcastle sits in fourth with 1,510,000. Rounding out the final table is Stephen Chidwick, Samuel Laskowitz, and Ryan Riess.
