The PGT Mixed Games 2024 continued at the PokerGO Studio from ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on Wednesday with Event #8: $10,200 Big Bet Mix. The tournament drew a field of 37 entries and for the second consecutive event, Daniel Negreanu leads the final five players.

Negreanu leads with 1,800,000, followed by Jeremy Ausmus with 1,595,000, Walter Chambers with 780,000, Jerry Wong with 690,000, and Dan Shak with 685,000. These five players will return on Wednesday already guaranteed $29,600. Up top for the winner is the $133,200 first-place prize, 133 PGT points, and the Event #8 trophy.

The field of 37 entrants created a prize pool of $370,000 and the final six players earned a piece of it. Event #7 winner Philip Sternheimer just missed out, busting on the money bubble in Pot-Limit Omaha when his wrap didn't get there against Ausmus' top pair and flush draw. Six-handed play lasted a little while until John Racener ultimately fell, getting his chips in the middle in Big O with the nut flush against Chambers' top two pair. Chambers filled up to eliminate Racener.

Negreanu and Wong are currently fifth and third, respectively, on the series leaderboard. Each has a chance to claim the top spot depending on their finishes.

The Event #8 final table resumes at 12 p.m. PT on Thursday, March 7th.
