The 2020 World Series of Poker Online on GGPoker continued Sunday with two events playing down to the final table of nine. The players from Event #41: $400 COLOSSUS and Event #42: $400 PLOSSUS will now go on a week-long hiatus before turning to conclude play on Saturday, August 1, at 5 p.m. ET.

The Event #41: $400 COLOSSUS attracted an astonishing 12,757-entrant field that paid 1,575 places. Holding the chip lead is Lithuania’s Arunas “AngryGoose” Sapitavicius with a stack of 33-big blinds ahead of notable players Joni Jouhkimainen and Ajay Chabra. The final nine players are all guaranteed $40,529 in prize money, but awaiting the eventual Event #41 champion is the coveted WSOP bracelet and $595,930 in first-place prize money that also has an added $15k WSOP Europe package.

The resumption of the $400 COLOSSUS final table will resume at 2 p.m. ET, with a live stream on PokerGO starting at 2:30 p.m. ET with cards up and commentary.

Event #42: $400 PLOSSUS would see a 4,356-entrant field set a prize pool of $1,637,856 that paid the top 548 players. Heading into the final table as chip leader is WSOP bracelet winner Yuri Dzivielevski with a stack of 64-big blinds, and the Brazilian will have American players Matt “DNSFD” Vengrin and Dustin “JohnSmiley1” Dirksen to content with. The final nine players are all guaranteed $14,597 in prize money, but all eyes will be on the $221,557 first-place prize and the prestigious WSOP bracelet.
