The newest table of Season 3 of Poker After Dark found only on PokerGO featured three couples that left their relationship at the door in the “Love at First Raise” episodes. Poker power couples Phil Laak and Jennifer Tilly, David Benyamine and Erica Schoenberg, and Jennifer Harman and Marco Traniello may not have all had everlasting love but one player earned $120,000.

Laak was chatty before the first hand and said, “I just want to last two hands.” Tilly set the tone by raising Laak’s big blind out of the gate.

“That’s because it’s my big blind right?” Laak asked. “It actually didn’t hurt as much as I thought it was going to.” Laak created a side bet where if a player busts their partner, the rest of the table owes $1,000 as a bounty.

Laak and Tilly are the only couple still together to this day. They never married but remain in a long-term committed relationship. They continue to compete against each other every day.

Schoenberg was engaged to Benyamine at the time and the Frenchman was doing well in the cash games at the time, backed up by a monster-sized diamond engagement ring. Schoenberg would later go on to marry Erick Lindgren, had a child together but then divorced in 2014.

Plenty of Bobby’s Room buy-ins went into the engagement ring.
Harman and Traniello were the only married couple on the show. They enjoyed 13 years of marriage, had twin boys together but then divorced in 2013. Harman was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2015 and continues to be a dominant player in Las Vegas.

Traniello busted Schoenberg early in the first episode in a weird hand where Traniello check-raised the flop and called a third bet with a draw. She gave him a free card on the turn to see the river to fill his straight. He put her all in on the river, she called, saw the bad news and said, “Sweet Mary and Joseph – wow. Wow, wow, wow. I’m going to be at the bar,” she said after her ace king fell to six five offsuit.

Erica Schoenberg was the first player out after some loose play by Marco Traniello.
The rest of Season 3 of Poker After Dark is nearly entirely online with Seasons 1 and 2 exclusively on PokerGO. The return of PAD comes next Monday, August 14 only on PokerGO.
