Usually, when two of the world’s best face off in a ‘made for TV’ hand, it’s a battle of skill. This week on ‘Throwback Hands,’ Patrik Antonius and Daniel Negreanu bash together thanks to some trickery from the deck.

The latest addition to THE VAULT on PokerGO pits the two players in a blind-on-blind battle. The action is stiff until a third club on the river spices up the pot.

This episode of Poker After Dark is far from the first televised encounter between Antonius and Negreanu as they compete in a $20,000 Sit-n-Go.

Antonius throws in what looks to be a suspicious river raise, according to Negreanu. Their years of history competing against each other come into play as Negreanu has likely seen this move once before from the Finnish foe.

The play leads Negreanu to ask, “Why would you do something like that?” Only Antonius knows the true reasoning and forces Negreanu to pay to find out.

This hand and more is available on PokerGO. The U.S. Poker Open starts on February 2 so subscribe to PokerGO now to get your taste of nine straight days of live stream action.
