Nick Petrangelo, Bryn Kenney Control $100K High Roller Big Stacks

Nick Petrangelo entered Day 3 of the World Series of Poker’s $100,000 NLH High Roller with the chip lead. After a short Twitch streamed session, he will enter Day 4 in the same position. Four eliminations brought the High Roller field down to the final six and another WSOP bracelet winner will be crowned Monday on PokerGO.

While Petrangelo’s 12 million chip stack leads for a second-straight day, Bryn Kenney is within touching distance. Kenney moved over the 10 million chip mark by eliminating Jason Koon in 7th place. $10,000 Super Turbo Bounty winner Elio Fox rounds out the top-half of the six-handed lineup with just shy of 9 million.

The bottom half of the leaderboard comes from Europe. Germany’s Andreas Eiler leads that charge with 8.5 million, while the United Kingdom hold down the final two spots. Aymon Hata is behind 7.2 million, while Stephen Chidwick will return with 5.7 million.

The relatively short Day 3 session saw Chris Moore fall one spot short of back-to-back $100K High Roller final tables at the WSOP. Moore was eliminated in 10th place, before Fedor Holz was sent to the rail in 9th. Holz won his first WSOP bracelet in the $111,111 High Roller for One Drop in 2015. Adrian Mateos made another deep WSOP run, but couldn’t add to his bracelet count. The Spanish crusher finished 8th.
