PokerGO’s latest original programming series is titled “Beyond the Rail.” This eight-episode series gives you a unique behind-the-scenes look into the 2018 World Series of Poker. In the coming two weeks we will highlight each episode and tell you exactly why this is must-watch action for every poker fan.

On this episode of Beyond the Rail, the cameras follow recently inducted Poker Hall of Fame member Mori Eskandani. For years, Eskandani has stood at the heart of the production of shows such as Poker After Dark and the World Series of Poker, making sure that even the tiniest detail is being looked at to create some of the most compelling poker on TV.

On Beyond the Rail, Eskandani shows you around behind the scenes at what is the biggest production of the entire poker calendar: The World Series of Poker Main Event. On the show, Eskandani speaks about what it takes for all these poker shows such as the Main Event, Super High Roller Bowl, U.S. Poker Open, and Poker Masters to come together.

“For anyone who has been in production, especially live production, it’s impossible to get everything done right. If it happens? It’s like hitting a number on the roulette wheel. There are so many people and equipment involved, and it’s all about reacting quickly, fix things and move forward,” Eskandani said.
