Through the Lens: A Look Back at GOAT Week

Last week we had one of the most entertaining Poker After Dark games, as GOAT week brought out some big names and even bigger pots! Watch all the highlights of GOAT Week on PokerGO right here.

Paul Pierce headlined the lineup, as the former NBA Champion played both nights. Alongside pierce was Rob Yong, Phil Hellmuth, Jennifer Tilly, Randall Emmett, Alan Keating, Tom Dwan, Mike Sexton, and Brandon Cantu.

While the first night seemed like the game got pretty wild, it couldn’t hold a flame to the second night. In what was one of the biggest pots we have had in $100/$200 game, Rob Yong won a pot worth over $460,000 against Alan Keating, when his pair and flush draw, ran down Keating’s top pair. The two got it all in on the turn, and it generated quite the buzz online! Here are some of my favorite images from GOAT week.

Listen to Paul Pierce on the Poker Central Podcast talking about his experiences on Poker After Dark, playing cards during his time in the NBA, and much more!

Since we had The Truth in the building, we had to break out the basketball hoop for some props!
Tom Dwan made his return this week playing on the second night of GOAT week. A few big folds cost Dwan some money, but he ended up winning on the session.
Despite losing a pot for nearly half a million, Alan Keating was all-smiles while playing. After losing the massive pot, Keating reloaded for a cool $1,000,000, covering every player at the table.
Jennifer Tilly had quite the run of it on night two of GOAT week, as she was one of the biggest winners in the game. In one of her biggest hands, Tilly flush-over-flushed Rob Yong for a full double up!
The action was hot and heavy on GOAT week with a friendly bunch that had a great time battling it out on the felt inside the PokerGO Studio.
