The new PokerGO series Hand Histories features an all-time classic moment with Daniel Negreanu. Looking back on the 2015 World Series of Poker Main Event, Negreanu’s run toward the final table remains a legendary storyline. With only 11 left, Negreanu put his tournament life at risk against eventual winner Joe McKeehen.

Negreanu took a bad beat that day and fell in 11th place. Three years later, Negreanu sits down to tell the story of the hand.

Hand Histories provides an in-depth look for viewers to relive the hand and let the respective player involved tell their story. Negreanu examines his thought process during the hand and in the intense moments leading up to the most important river card of his career.

No player in poker history has had the most important tournament hands of their career play out on television the way Negreanu has endured the cameras. Most of the memories are good with two World Poker Tour titles and six WSOP bracelets in his collection.

A painful hand such as busting the Main Event never entered the filmography for Negreanu until 2015. Only Negreanu can articulate just how painful that queen on the river felt to his soul in one of the few tournaments of the year that matter to him.

Negreanu looks the camera in the eye to explain how the crushing blow caused him to fall over in shock and what it felt like to lose a chance at making poker’s biggest final table. The hand didn’t change Negreanu’s life, but he’ll never be able to forget the outcome for the remainder of his career.
