Adams commenced his climb up the leaderboard at the final table by busting Daniel Negreanu in sixth place. Negreanu started the day third in chips but ran into a cooler to fall first in today’s play.

Jason Koon and Bill Klein fell in fifth and fourth place, respectively, to set up a lengthy three-handed battle.

Adams and Jaffee clashed in the hand of the tournament and witnessed a dramatic runout. Jaffee held a major lead but the run good of Adams struck at a perfect time to claim the pot and the chip lead.

Jake Schindler was felted by Adams to set up a brief heads up match between Jaffee and Adams for the title. Adams locked up the win in a few hands and assumed control of the Poker Masters leaderboard as a result.

The next event on the calendar for Poker Masters is the $25,000 Pot Limit Omaha event. Poker Masters Event 3 streams at 4 PM ET with the third gold medalist of the series on deck.
