Two of the game’s favorites, Jean-Robert Bellande and Maria Ho, are back in action on this week’s back-to-back nights of Poker After Dark! This $30,000 No Limit Hold’em cash game features $100/$200 blinds, a $200 big blind ante, and sees a wide range of personalities clash on the felt.

Ho, whose life story was told on Pokerography, made her Poker After Dark debut in 2017 when she battled on “Holidays with Hellmuth.” Bellande, a regular on the early iterations of the show, was right in the middle of the action during “The Return of Tom Dwan,” which kick-started the return of Poker After Dark after a near-ten year hiatus.

Tune in to watch the action live at 3:00 pm PT/6:00 pm ET/midnight CET and see how James Bord, Dr. Sean Dempsey, and businessman Evan Sofer make their debut under the bright lights on the PokerGO set.

Playing both nights, Bord, hailing from the UK, put his name on the map for poker fans around the world when he took down the World Series of Poker Europe Main Event back in 2010, making his way through a final table that included the likes of Nicolas Levi and Roland de Wolfe. More recently, in 2016, Bord finished fourth in the Big One for One Drop in Monte Carlo for €2,100,000, behind Rick Salomon, Anatoly Gurtovy, and Elton Tsang.

Dr. Dempsey made headlines in 2014 when he won his first WSOP gold bracelet in a $3,000 No Limit Hold’em tournament, at a final table that included Super High Roller Bowl runner-up Jake Schindler.

Familiar Faces

Bob Bright will play on both nights this week, after making his Poker After Dark debut on “Leave it to Seiver” week, followed by playing on two nights of “Games of our Lives” action with the Jean-Robert mentioned above Bellande.

Nick Schulman, featured in PokerGO originals Stories from the Felt episode about Bobby’s Room and his very own Pokerography episode, returns to Poker After Dark after playing on “Voices Carry” and shining brightly during the Poker Masters where he took down the first event.

Three-time WSOP bracelet winner and 20130 WSOP Player of the Year, Frank Kassela, plays during the second night after he tangled with Daniel Cates and Doug Polk on “Rumble with Jungle” in 2017.
