The U.S. Poker Open continued Thursday, with the final table of Event #6 on PokerGO and the third $25,000 High Roller of the series playing to a final table in the ARIA Poker Room. USPO Championship leader Stephen Chidwick led the way into that Event #6 final table and 24 hours later, he’s on top again, holding the Event #7 final table chip lead.

The British High Roller has had a stranglehold on the USPO leaderboard for what seems like the entire series and his grip will only get tighter heading into the $50,000 Main Event. Chidwick currently has just under $1 million in USPO cashes and with $400,000 up top in Event #7 and the chip lead, he should eclipse seven-figures over the next few hours.

While Chidwick leads another USPO final table, Sean Winter is set to notch his first cash of the series. The High Roller will come back second in chips, with former GPI Player of the Year David Peters rounding out the top half of the Event #7 leaderboard.

Keith Tilston also makes his second final table, along with Daniel Negreanu. “Kid Poker” will record his 4th USPO cash on Friday, but despite some amazing consistency throughout the series, Negreanu may be out of Championship contention if he can’t take down Event #7.

In truth, it all depends on Stephen Chidwick. If he wins Event #7, there will only be a few players that can even mathematically catch him heading into the $50,000 finale. If he busts early though, that will open the door for plenty of other Championship contenders.

The U.S. Poker Open will stream every day this week and the Event #7 broadcast begins Friday at 4:00 PM ET. The $25,000 No Limit Hold’em High Roller final table seat draw, along with the player’s chip counts, is provided below:
