Following a 3-way deal, Andrew Lichtenberger walks away with his second event title of the weekend and the first-place prize of $125,350. Cary Katz finishes in second place for $121,130, and Nick Petrangelo finishes in third place for $103,520. The 14-entrant field created a prize pool of $350,000 and was scheduled to pay the top two finishers before the deal.

Chris Brewer was eliminated in fourth place when he ran his last 139,000 into the middle, holding ace-six of diamonds against the pocket jacks of Katz. Katz flopped a set but needed to fade a flush. The turn and river missed Brewer’s flush, and he headed to the rail.

The remaining three players were nearly dead-even in chips, and rather than play a $105,000 bubble, the players decided to ICM chop the tournament and head home for the evening. Lichtenberger was sitting with 639,000 in chips, while Katz was in second place with 610,000. Petrangelo was sitting at 501,000, only nine big blinds behind Katz and 11 big blinds behind Lichtenberger.
